Somerset Otter Group’s 2 day Event took place this weekend. Jo Pearse will now collate the results. This year had the addition of spraints being collected for DNA analysis by Nia Thomas from Cardiff University. The results of which, will be included in her PhD. Bob Bailey kindly provided a temporary fridge for storage of samples from the Brue, Jo transported these to Wellington, where Elizabeth Williams kindly, and fittingly, hosted the collection point for all fresh spraint from the Brue and Tone. Saranne Cessford painstakingly indexed all the samples as they came in.
